چکیده
Abiotic stress is a limiting factor for plant growth and development. The use of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi can reduce the negative effects abiotic stress. This study aimed to determine tolerance Nauclea orientalis inoculated with mycorrhizae drought waterlogging stresses. research was carried out at Indonesian Mycorrhizal Association’s greenhouse Forestry laboratory University Halu Oleo in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, from March June 2019. used factorial completely randomized design consisting two factors. first Arbuscular Fungi (AMF) inoculations (A) control, AMF types Acaulospora sp.-1, Claroideoglomus etunicatum. secod environmental treatments (B) soil moisture 25% field capacity, 50% inundated as high polybag (9 cm high) over polybag. results showed that local effective improving growth. Interaction between inoculation sp.-1 significantly increased colonization on N. roots. Inoculation C.etunicatum improved treatment capacity negatively influenced dry weight relative orientalis.

متن کاملEvaluation of oxidative stress tolerance in maize (Zea mays L.) seedlings in response to drought.
Seedlings of selected six genotypes of maize (Zea mays L.) differing in their drought sensitivity (LM5 and Parkash drought-tolerant and PMH2, JH3459, Paras and LM14 as drought-sensitive) were exposed to 72 h drought stress at two leaf stage. Alterations in their antioxidant pools combined with activities of enzymes involved in defense against oxidative stress were investigated in leaves. Activi...
متن کاملRole of antioxidant and anaerobic metabolism enzymes in providing tolerance to maize (Zea mays L.) seedlings against waterlogging.
The present investigation was undertaken to identify the possible mode of mechanism that could provide tolerance to maize (Zea mays L.) seedlings under waterlogging. Using cup method, a number of maize genotypes were screened on the basis of survival of the seedlings kept under waterlogging. Two tolerant (LM5 and Parkash) and three susceptible (PMH2, JH3459 and LM14) genotypes were selected for...
متن کاملArbuscular mycorrhizae improves photosynthesis and water status of Zea mays L. under drought stress
The influences of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus on growth, gas exchange, chlorophyll concentration, chlorophyll fluorescence and water status of maize (Zea mays L.) plants were studied in pot culture under well-watered and drought stress conditions. The maize plants were grown in a sand and black soil mixture for 4 weeks, and then exposed to drought stress for 4 weeks. Drought stress signi...
